WHO? The Tampa Bay Parrot Heads in Paradise Club is a diversified group - well, a little more than a "group" with over 600 members who are drawn to the tropical music & laid back lifestyle suggested by Jimmy’s music. Although we are not a "fan" club, we are certainly all fans of his music - it is our common bond. Our age range spans six decades & our roster includes everyone from aerobic instructors to zoologists, students to teachers, the guy who flips the cheeseburgers to the lady who owns the burger stand, and all in between.

WHAT? Well the rumors are true. We have refined and redefined the word party. We have fun whether it’s at our meetings, community projects or informal get-togethers. Most importantly, we pride ourselves on making a difference in our world. We were voted "Volunteer Club of the Year" by Lowry Park Zoo & "Community Service Organization of the Year" by Keep Hillsborough County Beautiful. We perform beach clean-ups, volunteer at zoo and other functions and sponsor an Environmental Scholarship at the University of South Florida. We support: Save The Manatee Club, American Red Cross Hurricane Disaster Relief, Tampa Baywatch, Pinellas Seabird Rehab, Tampa Alzheimer’s Assoc., Adopt-A-Shoreline, Mayor’s Beautification Program, Lowry Park Zoo & more!

WHERE? Gasoline Alley is located at 14042 66th Street North, Largo, FL 33771.  Going from 19 South to 66th St. just after first light on the right. From Ulmerton Rd. go north on 66th St. on the left across from Mugs 'n' Jugs. The phone number is (727) 532-026.  Or you can click here for directions.

WHEN? The "ODD" (being the odd birds that we are), 1st, 3rd and 5th (when it occurs) Wednesdays of each month from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. About 200 members show up at the "meetings" (if you can call them that) for news about club activities, raffles, dancing to Bubba’s music, laughter, hugs, Teeeeeam Drinks and Gasoline Alley's great atmosphere.

WHY? If any of the following unruffles your feathers: a chance to get involved with cool community projects and have a blast doing it, making new "Friends for Life," no dress code, great trips like the National Parrot Head Convention in Key West or the upcoming Mexico cruise, a chance to attend the wonderful Manatee Ball. Hey, you’re a Parrot Head! Until we meet again . . . FINNNNNNNNS UP!!!
