We had two check presentations this month! On July 5th we presented to Tampa Bay Watch a check for $1700 from Kahunas Pig Roast and on July 19th a check for $2500 to Florida Parrot Rescue from the Buffett tailgate. Party with a purpose???? Yes, we do.July 8th we cleaaaannnnned the beaches and brought in 59 bags of trash and donated close to 100 man hours to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful! Teaammmmmmm drink to Fireball Steve for coordinating the clean-up and putting out TBPH flags and signs. Afterwards we headed to Bay Harbor Hotel for a wonderful food buffet that included hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork and bratwurst. Teaammmmmmm drink to Bay Harbor Hotel for such great treatment.

Tampa Rays vs Texas Rangers brought us the first Margaritaville game to Tropicana Field. Joined by Sarasota Bay and the Villages Parrot Head clubs, we met at Fergs and enjoyed each other’s company until we headed over to the game. Once we arrived we were entertained by Connie Church and Patrick Foy (De Lei’ed Parrots duo), danced a little and then went to watch the game. Teaammmmmm drink to Bill and Helen Connolly for our pre-game bash and Fergs for food and drink specials.
If you missed the 2nd Annual PHloat Down the River, you missed a phintastic time. Teaammmmmmm drink to Doug Weiser for coordinating 30 plus kayaks and close to 60 parrot heads phloating down the
Weeki Wachee river.  Join us in August for bar stroll and other PHun
events.
