Hi Friends!
Well I made it to Los Angeles! Lori stayed with me for a
week or so and is back in Florida trying to wrap up business
and sell a house. She will join me as soon as life allows.
It is a great feeling to be here but also lonely without my
family and my Florida PH family. However, Lori and I will
soon be LAPHC members and Robert has welcomed us with open
arms!
Other very exciting news! I have been asked to help out on
communications for Migration 2008! Lori, I and about 20
crazy PH’s from Florida and the Coast of Carolina clubs
attended this amazing event last year. Imagine nearly 600
PH’s in LAS VEGAS at the Hooters Casino and Hotel!!! Then we
talk about the entertainment…jam session on Friday night for
about 5 HOURS and then 14 solid hours of live Trop Rock on
Saturday! WELL WON’T YOU JOIN US THIS YEAR?!?!? Registration

We have kept the prices the same, even with some price
increases in room and food costs. The meal package is to be

In my past emails I have mentioned that we would have a
Kayak Adventure for the Wednesday night preceding the PHINS
main event. We decided to add this event since in the past 2
years many of our attendees are arriving early in the week,
making an extended vacation of PHINS. To accommodate them,
we added the Kayak Adventure. This event will cost $ 50 and
will include the float down the river, dinner, and always,
Parrothead style entertainment.
We have managed a partnering deal with a van service out of
Las Vegas for transportation to the AVI Resort and Casino.
The normal cost of this trip is $ 50. We have received a
special event rate of $ 30/pp for that short 80 mile ride.
The vans have regular service, however, if your membership
can get together a group of 12 or more or we can have the
van service group people by arrival times at the airport, we
will have special vans from Sin City.
We are still planning a Golf Outing for 2008, but, not sure
if it will be a tournament or just a friendly get together.
We will get special event rates for those wanting to take in
that event.

negotiating with other groups and individuals to round out
our week-end phlocking. You can be assured that we will have
ample entertainment to keep you moving.

For those that attending this year’s event you may have
noticed that we had in operation a large screen display in
the Convention Center. This screen allowed us to project
photos and other interesting information. In 2008 we will be
offering to our attendees the privilege of placing a photo
with caption on that screen for a charity donation. We are
working up the details and rules for this offering, so just
think about someone or something that you would like to
display to the audience during the event.
As you know, next year is our 5th Anniversary of PTTW. We
are investigating a special memento item for those attendees
that have been with us for all 5 years.

Festivities will kick off Friday night at 7:00 PM with
entertainment by Blind Manifest. We will have raffles and a
silent auction throughout the evening.
We will continue Saturday afternoon at 1:00 until 4:00 PM
with our annual boat cruise on the Winner Cruise Queen cost
