Tell us more.  When did you become a Parrot Head and why did you join TBPH: I've been a Parrothead since 1973. They weren't called Parrot Heads then. I joined TBPH in October of 1994 at Whiskey Joes back room meeting. I thought I should join a club to share my love of Jimmy Buffett's music. There were a very few people there that evening. I think about 10 or 12. We had some drinks, played Buffett music on a portable player and invented the Parrot Head Conga Line. A few weeks later the club became a charitable organization, with a mission of helping the Manatees and the environment in general. All wrapped around a general affection for each other and a natural party gene built in to all of us. It's been great fun all these years from Whiskey Joe's,The Attic, Storman's Palace,and all the other places the club has met and partied at. Places like A1A in Brandon, and Tadpole's. The Manatee Ball. those were very special times.
