And then I'll sit him on my shoulder and open up my trusty old mind.
I'm gonna teach him how to fuss, Teach him how to cuss,

We want more...tell us when you became a parrothead and why you joined the TBPH club—

First of all THANK YOU guys!!! We have been having a BLAST! We are not only huge Jimmy Buffet fans, but have always been true Parrot Heads...now it's official. We hopped on this wild ride to help out in the community and make new friends…we didn’t know we’d be gaining a new family!

Bill:  When I heard about the club, I knew this is where I belonged. As a kid, “I never used to miss a chance” to hop in my dad’s truck and listen to Jimmy’s crazy tales. Dad would answer question after question about the various Buffettisms that sparked my young imagination. I remember asking, “What does he mean, ‘the days don’t have names’”? He loved that I was taking an active interest in his passion. He once said, “If you really want to know your father, you need only listen to these lyrics” I wondered what in the hell he was talking about! Unfortunately, my father passed away at an early age and we’ve missed out on a hell of a lot of adventures together...but as the song goes, “Yesterday’s over my shoulder, so I can’t look back for too long”.  When I do look back on what my dad said that day, it makes perfect sense. He had a “Caribbean Soul that he could barely control”! He has passed that on to me…and now it is a great passion of mine to share it with my wife, Nina and everyone we meet. Great to be a part of something so great…for that, I’m eternally grateful. Enjoy the ride!
