Clearwater Marine Aquarium is the world’s most-watched marine life rescue and environmental education center. Our mission is to restore and preserve our marine life & environment. We accomplish our mission through leadership in education, research, and the rescue, rehabilitation, & release of marine life. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, performing our work by the generous support of the public. CMA's marine life stranding response team is one of the nation's most successful. Many of the sick or injured animals we rescue are released after rehabilitation, but some become permanent CMA residents, due to the extent of their injuries. Residents include dolphins, sea turtles and river otters. The most amazing rescue story of all is Winter's. Come and visit us and see how our amazing staff and volunteer team do this fun and compelling work... By the time you get done, you too, will feel like you rescued a dolphin. The proceeds from our 16th TBPH Birthday Party will support CMA.

Our mission is clear:

Tampa Bay Watch, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit stewardship program dedicated exclusively to the protection and restoration of the marine and wetland environments of the Tampa Bay estuary through scientific and educational programs.

With your help, we are protecting Florida's largest open water estuary. By expanding community involvement in hands-on restoration and protection projects around the bay, we strive to counteract the huge loss of wetland habitat over the past 100 years.

Tampa Bay Watch trains and organizes citizen volunteers, students, at-risk youth, and civic organizations to participate in environmental projects while heightening community awareness of the fragile nature and importance of the environment.

We welcome you to our web site, and hope you will contact us to get involved with the effort to restore Tampa Bay every day! The proceeds from the TBPH Pheeding the Phlock cookbook will go to Tampa Bay Watch.

The College of Marine Science is focused on interdisciplinary research in marine science at the graduate level. In 2008, our 22 ranked faculty members recorded more than $21 million in research funding. We have four distinguished university/research professors, eight professors, eight associate professors and two assistant professors. In 2007, our faculty published in 103 peer reviewed publications and served on many national and international committees. We have 111 enrolled graduate students and 32 Post Doctoral Fellows.

Our endowments of $16 million promote 22 fellowships averaging from $10,000 to $22,000. The College is well positioned to contribute to USF’s quest for AAU status.

With the vision of a unified global, natural system in mind, the College seeks to build new interdisciplinary research teams in collaboration with our local partners. As stewards of the oceans, it is our mission to fully engage the national and international scientific communities, through the reporting of research results in the most respected oral and written venues, and by professional service. We strive to define and realize a bright future with the emerging issues that affect the economic conditions of the Florida West Coast Shelf and we seek to address a myriad of relevant societal issues such as overfishing, coastal erosion, red tides, ocean noise, dying coral reefs, hurricane predictions, sea level rise, floods, ocean acidification, and drought to build better, more environmentally-sustainable and safe communities.

At the College of Marine Science, we are enthusiastic about our capabilities, students and research opportunities, and believe we can move forward with you on our team. Collaborations are the key. TBPH 5th Wednesday raffles and other events will go to support our endowment to USF.

The mission of Keep Hillsborough County Beautiful is to prevent litter, promote recycling and conservation, clean up and beautify our community through action, education, awareness and by fostering stewardship. KHCB achieves this mission by coordinating the Great American Cleanup, the International Coastal Cleanup, the Adopt-A-Road/Adopt-A-Shore programs, the annual Litter Index survey and community cleanups.

More than 7,000 people in Greater Hillsborough County participated in volunteer programs sponsored by KHCB over the past year. It is our volunteer groups that help make KHCB a success. By working together, we build a sense of community pride, which in turn leads to cleaner and safer places to live. Studies have shown that a clean and well-maintained neighborhood serves as a deterrent for crime. When we build a sense of community, we are building a better tomorrow. TBPH supports KHCB with a yearly monetary donation and the four clean-ups we hold on Parrothead Island.
